What do we mean by "Canadian Made"?

Many companies will design their products in Canada, but have them made offshore. Canadian-made products are dyed, cut, sewn, and finished here in Canada. Buying Canadian-made products means that you are supporting Canadian workers and local economies.

Does this mean expensive?

Products from brands like Jerico and King Athletics are at a slightly higher price point than more basic options, but we believe that the quality and value is quite competitive with a lot of our more premium options.

about the fabrics

Bamboo

Naturally sustainable bamboo is soft, light and translucent making it the next generation in textile fibres. Bamboo is naturally moisture wicking without the need for chemical treatments.

Furthermore, bamboo is hypo-allergenic and UV resistant.

Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is grown from non-genetically modified plants, and without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals such as fertilizers or pesticides, aside from the ones allowed by the certified organic labeling.

Recycled Polyester

Recycled polyester, also known as rPET, is obtained by melting down existing plastic and re-spinning it into new polyester fibers. Most commonly, rPET is created from recycled bottles and other plastic consumer packaging.

Just to give an example, five soda bottles yield enough fiber for one extra large T-shirt.
